Just Doing My Part

I love wine, I don't care what kind I love all wines!!! This evening I was opening a bottle of blush to go along with my dinner when Mad says to me "Mom your fighting cancer". I was surprised we have never really talked much about it, but I told her yes my glass or two helps to protect me from certain cancers. She proceeds to tell me " no, I meant you are helping to fight breast cancer by buying wine with the pink ribbon on the bottle". Again I almost couldn't believe her, we decided that we would do our part to help battle this horrible disease that cuts way to many lives short and not lived to their full potential. I am so proud of my 7 year old that she knows so much about breast cancer, but also a little sad because she is so worried about it before she even has hers.

The last load of laundry is in the washer, floors are all washed and vacuumed and I have nice fresh towels hanging in the bathroom. Homework is done and kids are actually playing together nicely. I am not quite sure if it is actually going to snow in hell tonight but for once I have all my work done before 2 in the morning. However I do live that easy life of a stay at home mom.

I'm too weak....

I admit I have an addiction, not the kind the is life threatening or anything like that but still I am totally consumed. Since Madison went back to school my evenings have gotten quiet very early. I picked up the twilight series and when I bought them I also was drawn to the smutty romance section. I read a lot of this "novels" as a teenage on the beach but being a mother of three it's been a while since I have read things other then princess books or spongebob square pants. These are the kind of books that if they were a movie my man was watching I'd pretend to be offended. You can't help but get lost in a world where a man knows just what to say and how to touch a woman and be perfect all the time!!! However it does put the standards high when he wants to know what your putting on the table for dinner instead of throwing you on it!!!! So my kids are almost ready for bed and I am ready to go read my perfect hot sexy book!!!

Only Me........

Why do completely ridiculous things always happen to me???? Today was just a normal day like all my others. I needed to run to walmart and pick up a few things, so I loaded the kids into the jeep and off we went. Being mom of the year that I am first we hit the toy department so each one could pick something they wanted so I could shop in peace!!! I was almost finished and was in the pet aisle, as I was putting my bucket of kitty litter in the cart somehow another on fell off the shelf right onto the top of my foot. My kiddies might have learned some new vocabulary words today from me instead of Uncle Potty Mouth, once I finally decided I could get to the registers we were done. Till I got home my foot was a lovely shade of purple and black and 3 times as big as should be, so I decided maybe I needed to call my doctor. So I need to once again go to doctor and explain how I managed to hurt myself, I swear I need to live in a bubble. Hey on a good note I was having a really good hair day today, so at least I looked good limping around!!!

I need a maid.

It is no big secret that I love to shop, I have never met a cute pair of flip-flops or sexy pair of high heels that I didn't like. My kids closets are no different then mine. I love a good sale and believe that one can never have too many outfits, while I might have 3 kids, I could easily dress 15. There is also one thing I hate LAUNDRY. I might love to buy and wear but not wash, hang and fold!!! I have good intentions that I will keep my laundry under control by doing a load of so every day, but it doesn't happen. Then I hear the dreaded "Mom i'm wearing my last pair of clean underwear". Then I need to start the day long process, sometimes two, so I have come to a conclusion, I need to buy that girl more underwear!!!

Spanky is 4!!

We have come a long way the last four years!!! I can't believe that my baby boy is 4. Jaden is such a joy to have in my life, he is the clown of the family and the reason I am sure I will get lots of calls to the principal's office down the road from now! Jaden never does anything bad, it is always Spanky that is the naughty one. Happy Birthday Sweetie, you are one of a kind and the light of my life!!!!!!!!!!

Almost 4

Remember the times when birthday's were so much fun??? Jaden is turning 4 on Friday and we have been celebrating since Saturday, the day of the Indiana Jones party. I however have decided three cases of beer and a whole lot of clams later that birthday parties are really for the adults!!!! Yes, of course all the kids had fun there were goodie boxes with everything Indiana to include sticky organs, but really it was just a reason for me to throw a huge party in 95 degree weather with my girlfriend of too many years to think about! To cap off the evening we had a huge firework display that Uncle Devin got from a man's trunk!!! What better way to turn 4, and what better way for me to spend a wonderful day with my very closest family and friends!!!!! Here's to many more days of celebrating 4, this bud lime is for you!!!!!!!
